Mexico Academy and Central School, located on Lake Ontario in upstate New York, organized MACS Dollars for Scholars in 1986. The non-profit organization's  mission is to help provide higher education for MACS graduates through the generous donations from businesses, patrons, and friends of Mexico, New Haven  and Palermo in  the form of scholarships.
